Dunkeld & Birnam
Located just 3 miles from Dungarthill, these lovely villages sit either side of the Tay and hosts many attractions along with a lovely variety of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Many attractions are noted through the community website, though some of the attractions are noted separately below.
The Hermitage
A short distance from Dunkeld, a stunning walk in the Tay Forest park through some of the UKs tallest trees along the gorge to the Black Linn falls, a truly magical location in any season.
Dunkeld Cathedral
Beautifully situated on the banks of the River Tay and a short stroll from the village centre.
Birnam Arts
This community owned and run centre features a Beatrix Potter exhibition and shop as well as a café. It is situated next to the Beatrix Potter garden and hosts various programs of events throughout the year.
Loch of Lowes Visitors Centre & Reserve
This lovely nature reserve just 2 miles from Dunkeld is the perfect place for those who love wildlife, with a breeding pair of Ospreys, Beavers & Red Squirrels just a snapshot of what you may spot.
